In the beginning there was no thought and nothing produced. We learned to put form to our feelings through language internally. Lagging relative moments behind that, vocalization enabled us to cast our feelings into the world where they could change our surroundings. We fostered that ability to something less vulnerable to temporal distortion by assigning forms to our noises. So far we have built feelings into thoughts into vocal expressions into physical artifacts which illustrate those same feelings. Expression of feeling , desire etc via language is the most primordial tool there is. I feel the use of it is the only creative outlet we embody.
Without language to guide my thoughts I would be unable to swing a hammer. Not even scratch an image of myself into the dirt.
